First Day Huge Success!

The inaugural day of Adventure Based Cooking went very well, with a group of 30 students coming together to create a salad that defines nutritious.  The class was divided into 3 teams: one group made the lemon-thyme dressing; another prepared the quinoa; and the last group (with help from everyone) demonstrated their newly acquired knife skills on red cabbage, lacinato kale, pomegranates, carrots, arugula, and many other ingredients.  Overall, the discussion about the topic of food, and how significantly it effects, and is affected, by an array of topics in the world for everyone went extremely well.

Our next class will focus on Food Safety.
